On Saturday 1/31/2026, I received an email from Commander Mark Case. He expressed the need to take a step back from his duties as Commander of VFW Post 1500 effective immediately. Commander Case has faithfully and tirelessly performed his duties as Commander for the past 2.5 years. Prior to being nominated as Commander, he served as the post's Quartermaster. Commander Case's accomplishments are too many to list, but he selflessly took time out of his personal life to make sure the post was in tip top shape. Trust me, his absence will be noticed. I would personally like to thank Commander Case for his service to our great country and our post. Per the constitution and by-laws of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, I have assumed the duties as post Commander.Dutifully Submitted,Michael CardilliCommander VFW 1500I would like to welcome everyone to our website VFW1500.org.
